From the outside, very non-descript. However, once u walk-in, it was a pleasant surprise! The food choices were plenty, the restaurant spacious & prices decent (in today’s market..) This place would satisfy visiting family, friends or if u simply want to try something different for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner Or maybe I’ll go back for a root beer float or one of the many ice cream choices that tempt near the entrance…

Stopped by for lunch and had a great experience. The hot roast beef sandwich was tasty and piled high with tender roast beef. The rhubarb pie was delicious! Our waitress was super friendly and kept refilling our drinks. Will definitely return the next time in Scottsdale.

I've been wanting to go here for quite some time now. So I thought today would be perfect. I had a class, at my college, at 9:00 am. So I was kind of in a rush, but I wanted a decent breakfast so I could focus in class. As soon as I got in, they sat me down at the counter and got me a menu and some coffee. After looking at the menu for about 3-5 minutes I knew what I wanted, the #8: 2 Eggs, 2 sausage, 2 bacon, some hash browns, and a choice of mini pancakes. The waitress told me to get the limited time pumpkin pancakes instead. Which I did, and boy it was worth it. After I ordered I got my meal in about 5 minutes, and yes, it was amazing. I'm not even really an egg person, but I somehow practically finished my entire plate, and got out of there in an amazing time while still being able to enjoy my meal. 5 stars, I'm definitely going to come back to try the ice cream.

Randy’s Restaurant is an absolute gem. Wonderful hospitality and such genuinely kind people—you can feel the care the moment you walk in. The atmosphere is welcoming, the service is heartfelt, and it truly feels like one of those special places that still values community and good food. Definitely worth the stop if you’re passing through or nearby. We’ll absolutely be back. Highly recommend!

I’ve wanted to try Randy’s for a long time and finally made it there today. This mom and pop “diner” style restaurant is all that I hoped it to be. Their comfort food type menu is delicious. I had “The Rachel” which is corned beef on marble rye with melted Swiss and coleslaw. I had read about it on an old online menu and they were happy to make it. My son had the chicken fried steak which he said was the best he’s ever tasted. We share a slice of delicious coconut cream pie which definitely tasted homemade! Our server was so friendly, we really appreciated her welcoming personality. Prices are very fair. We’ll definitely be back!!

Whenever my father comes to town for a visit, it I s just not complete without a meal at Randy’s. He used to live across the street and frequent it weekly. We sat outside. Our server Tara was so friendly & nice. They now use tablets for the orders. We ordered a chef salad, a turkey cranberry sandwich with fries, a couple salad & sandwich combos, a slice of corn bread, a McCormick ranch melt with soup and ice cream for dessert. The meals came out at different times, they ran out of Italian wedding soup but didn’t tell us until after some of us received our entrees and there was some confusion with salad dressings and ice cream flavors but the staff was so nice and apologetic. It might be a learning curve with the tablets. We noticed you can now pay online with a credit card which is a nice option since they were always cash only. It is still quite busy. We live in North Scottsdale so it is not very convenient for us but we will be back when my father visits again.

Amazing food and even better customer service!! We came in from out of state and Airbnb issues. 15 of us! They sat us and fed us and listened to our woes. I havent had such great customer service in years!! The food was beyond amazing, hot, fast, and quality for sure. So good we went twice during our trip. Thank you so very much from the huge group of weary travelers.

Laura, Jackson and everyone we came in contact with were so genuinely friendly. You can tell they love their jobs. Multiple people asked if we had everything we needed. We have heard about Randy’s from many people but had never been. We are so happy we finally went! The food was delicious and the prices are great for Scottsdale.
